Commercial Trade License
A Commercial Trade License is granted for business activities that involve the buying / selling of goods, commodities and or services. Examples of businesses that require a Commercial Trade License include retail outlets, trading establishments, real estate brokerages, logistics companies, and educational / training institutions.
With a single Commercial Trade License, an entity may undertake up to ten allied business activities. A Commercial Trade License is granted by the Department of Economic Development in the emirate where you plan to set up your business establishment. If you are setting up your business in a free zone, the respective Free Zone Authority will apply for a Commercial Trade License with the Department of Economic Development on your behalf.
